There is little doubt that animation is a buzz word today and that the Indian animation industry has finally arrived. The biggest challenge for us is to sustain this buzz, and grow and elevate the status of this industry so that it finally matures as an engine of growth for this country.

Animation has generated tremendous passion and interest amidst the learners but the downside is the lack of direction in the training industry. It still works on the belief that learning software is the means to achieve the ends to becoming good animators. This has also rubbed off on the learner and they too have started believing that knowledge of software alone is sufficient make an animator out of them. Little do they realize that learning software alone is equivalent to becoming a "tailor" or a "carpenter" and not "fashion designer" or "interior designer".

We at Arena Park Street are striving to correct this imbalance and are adopting a more holistic approach to animation training and are looking beyond software training alone. It is our effort to develop all round animation skills by providing a deep and rigorous insight in to the process of animation development including story telling, casting, character and background development, music, analysis, criticism and appreciation of this art form. We hope to liberate the learner from the rigors of software and make animators out of them. In other words, we want to make "fashion designers" or "Interior designers" out of our students and not turn them into "tailors" and "carpenters" and leave them there to fend for themselves.

In order to achieve this objective we have introduced a proprietary training methodology christened the H.A.T. Methodology™ or the "Holistic Animation Training Methodology". This methodology encompasses all the aspects of animation development and lays equal stress on Design-Visualisation and Pre-production along with Production and Post-production. The resultant output of student undergoing training through this methodology  conform to industry standards and requirements and are easily lapped up by the talent hungry Indian animation industry resulting in placements in "blue chip" animation companies in India and abroad.

That is why Arena Park Street is different and is the preferred destination of the industry for sourcing animators.
